 Front Page is an interactive visual novel that explores themes of ideology, representation, and identity with media and one’s morality within a capitalistic and cyberpunk world. You play as Ember, a young, struggling journalist trying to support her family. She needs to find the subject for her career-defining piece, as she was offered a front-page column on the upcoming news report issue. This task ultimately tests the player’s morality as they go out and explore the capitalistic neon district, full of stores and neon billboards that advertise the latest cyberware product, and the slum district, a decaying and sleazy area full of rundown buildings where Ember grew up, and decide what topic deserves to be on the front page of their upcoming article.
